Guildford Musuem

The future of Guildford Museum

Developing a Strategy

The Council plans to add a cafe, new gallery and entrance to Guildford Museum. It has asked the public for ideas and this page will record thoughts discussed via the Forum.

The April 2017 Heritage Programme states: We'd like local people to identify the big Guildford Stories that the museum can explore through new displays, and the way in which these stories are told. Local people can help develop themes and content for the changing exhibition programme, and the activities and events which will run alongside. We will be planning a variety of ways through which you can do this.

We all need to get involved but the Forum exists to discuss ideas and I propose we facilitate discussion by trying to answer 6 questions. Read this document for more information and get back to me with your ideas
